St Brigid’s church, and all who live in the Newmains area, benefit from our Charity Shop which is situated in the main street. Over the past few years the shop has raised tens of thousands of pounds for St Brigid’s AND given locals the chance of buying from a huge range of nearly new goods at bargain prices.

Of course, none of the above would be possible without the generousity of those who donate their ‘unwanted treasures’ to the Shop - nor without the team of highly committed ladies who run the Shop. Thank you to all. (And if you are ever in Newmains between may and October, do call into the Shop. You are sure to find a bargain!)
